Let’s split — it’s Banana Split Day! 🍌🍨 Celebrate with a BERRY MEDLEY BANANA SPLIT and all the sweet toppings you can handle. Who’s bringing the spoons?

GET SPLITIN':
🍌 1 large banana (cut in half long way)
🍌 1 cup chocolate ice cream
🍌 1 cup vanilla ice cream
🍌 1 cup raspberry sorbet
🍌 2 tbsp chocolate syrup
🍌 2 tbsp strawberry sauce
🍌 2 tbsp macadamia nut (chopped)
🍌 2 tbsp pineapple (chopped)
🍌 2 tbsp strawberries, raspberries & blackberries
🍌 whipped cream
🍌 maraschino cherries

Place sliced banana in a large bowl. Add ice cream and sorbet in a row. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and strawberry sauces. Sprinkle with nuts and fruit. Add whipped cream and maraschino cherries and share with family.

🥔🥕 Roast and relax — dinner’s on sale!
Michi’s Pot Roast is loaded with tender chuck roast, hearty potatoes, and sweet carrots… all simmered low and slow into pure comfort.

Boneless Beef Chuck Roast - $9.99 lb.
Russet Potatoes 5 lb. bag - $4.89 ea.
Onions 3 lb. bag - $3.29 ea.
Organic Baby-Cut Carrots 16 oz. - $2.99 ea.
Kitchen Basics Organic Cooking Stock 32 oz. - $2.97 ea.

GET COOKINʻ:
🥔 4 lbs. chuck roast
🥔 1 tsp garlic salt
🥔 ½ tsp black pepper
🥔 1 tsp canola or extra virgin olive oil
🥔 4 cups beef stock (can substitute water and beef stock cubes/paste)
🥔 6 oz. tomato paste
🥔 2 medium onions (halved and sliced thick)
🥔 3 cloves garlic (minced)
🥔 2 bay leaves
🥔 1 tsp rosemary
🥔 generous sprinkle of salt and pepper
🥔 3 large carrots (peeled and cut into large pieces)
🥔 3 large russet potatoes (quartered)

Season the roast with garlic salt and pepper, then heat a large dutch oven (or any large pot with a cover) over medium high and add the oil. Brown all sides of the roast. Whisk the tomato paste into the beef stock and pour the mixture into the pot. Add the onion, garlic, bay leaves, rosemary, and salt and pepper and bring to a brisk boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer with a covered lid for about 45 minutes. Turn the roast over and simmer for an additional 45 minutes, then add in the carrots and bring the liquid back to a gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 45 more minutes then add in the potatoes, bringing the liquid back to a simmer. Cook for an additional ½ hour or until the potatoes are cooked but still firm (adding the potatoes last ensures that they don’t fall apart).
If the liquid in the pot evaporates too much during the cooking process, just add in water, about a cup at a time. Toward the end of the cooking process, let the liquid thicken (you can even uncover the pot after adding the potatoes to encourage thickening).
To serve, slice the roast into thick pieces and plate each serving with some carrots and potatoes, ladling over some of the sauce.
