NO CLASS THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11th. It’s that time again. We will be closed Saturday for Ironman. Get your classes in on Friday and we are back to regular schedule on Sunday. Take this time to spend it with your loved ones. Stay active by going on adventures or take a rest day and binge on your favorite shows. Good luck to all the athletes who are racing this weekend and thank you to all the volunteers for keeping our town organized and clean.

Starting October, our monthly Soundbath will include 15 minutes breath and gentle movement. As we enter the season of fall, we are being called to simplify. Review everything we are holding onto. It’s a great time to downsize what we’re carrying energetically.

Fall season represents transition. From yang activation season to yin restoration season. To transit smoothly and gracefully, we are being invited to release what feels heavy. The dead weight that is unnecessary to carry forward. This is a season to carefully curate our lives, as we are setting ourselves up for the new seasons.

Join us in this one hour of breath, gentle movement and soundbath. Our nervous system is the foundation to everything we are building. Let’s reset our nervous system through sound meditation.

August Soundbath is up on the schedule. This month event will be a day after the new moon in Virgo.

Virgo is a mutable sign. Mutable signs are characterized by their ability to adapt to changing circumstances and find solutions to problems. Virgo falls at the end of the summer, marking the transition to the fall season, signifying the end of a season and preparing for the next. As we close one cycle, there will be a process of “tying up a loose end” before we start a new season.

Use this sound journey to get clear on this process. Virgo’s natural ability to analyze, refine, and adjust is what making them skilled at problem-solving and finding practical solutions. Use this energy to create a new structure in your life as we are starting a new season. What feels stagnant, chaotic, draining, useless, toxic? Let’s clear that up. By doing so, we are clearing what feeding off of our energy. Preserve as much energy as we transition to a new season. Let’s be mindful about our resources in creating new structure and foundation.

Bring a mat/ padding, pillow, blanket, eye mask, and water. COME at the latest 10 minutes before the event to set up and settle the energy. Avoid rushing. We will start on time and the door will be locked to respect others.

Monthly Soundbath at 6:00 PM HST on August 23 offered by Yoga Love Hawaii. Soundbath is a meditation practice to help support deeper healing. Alexis will be jumping in to teach Friday 8am Hot Vinyasa starting August 1st. She will be holding this class until the end of September and Jouliana will be taking over in October. Make sure to soak in some of her energy while you can.

Alexis has been a solid practitioner at Yoga Love. She held a series of “baby and mom” yoga in the past and she will continue to offer more classes in this type of family structure. Prenatal yoga (donation based) is brewing. Stay tuned!!!

July monthly Soundbath special edition is up on the schedule. We will be having our guest sound practitioner, Lauren to join Tika in this healing sound immersion. This event will be 90 minutes, with 45 minutes of breathwork, gentle movement and the rest will be sound meditation. Lauren will add magic to the sound with her personal handpan on top of other instruments, such as a Grotta Sonora gong, crystal bowls, Xylophones, chimes and Himalayan bowls.

The focus on this collaboration is to harness Leo new moon energy that falls on July 24th, a couple of days before this special event. The sign of Leo is asking us to ignite the light within, even through the darkness of the new moon.

Join Tika and Lauren for 90 minutes of grounding, finding deeper connection to our breath, gentle movement and restorative yoga with beautiful ending in soundbath meditation.

Our lovely Corinn .desert got hitched 👰🏻 and she’s moving to Europe 🎊 Her love story is magical and something that’s important to follow through.

Corinn’s last class is the last Friday in July. Make sure to join her hot vinyasa class 8am every Friday before she leaves. We love you Corinn, we’ll miss you. Sending you limitless amount of blessings in your new endeavors.
