The picture I attached was my whishes broad it's about what I would like to happen for my life. I made this when my Daughter was born and after I quit one of the place in Kona as massage therapist inquit work for that person because he was horrible boss but I have to thanks him I made my promise to him that I will become his biggest competition for his business. Back on Oahu when decided to move to Big Island I gave my Spa to one of my friends I did not receive for any cash complicate just asked him to take care my clients and take care my girls that was working with me . Business fell and closed down because of his attitude that he think the girls owe him because he provided them work, he did not understanding it's give and take relationship he has my clients list and ask girls to come to work on clients , he received money for massage fee and girls received commission from work and received gratuity from clients because they deserve that they did good jobs.When business owners and worker not understand each role your business will not be success. My success from being The best Spa in Big Island from award that I just received from West Hawaii that all my local clients vote for us
Mahalo Nui I could not be who I am with all my clients that support us all year round no matter what happens with our Islands.My success with Ohana Bali Spa start with my wonderful husband we been married for 14 years he has nickname "Soccer mom and Boxing dad" meanning he the one take both our kids for games and practices , Thank you for my Mother in law "Bini" loving Tutu ( grandma in Hawaii) she is our back up baby's sisters I am so blessed have her in my life .
2014 the year I opened Ohana Bali Spa I remember my husband mentioned about location of Pottery Terrace was so quiet no one around after 2pm that if I don't have enough money to pay rent he have backup money to pay rent until my lease come up I asked why would he think I won't make it ?? He said there are already 4 massages in complex that are my competition I smiled and said to him Honey don't worry I have no competition when people come get massage by me they will feel my true energy that I am giving them my massage with love ! my grandfather who tough me my massage once said when you do the right thing money will come. True healing only will work if you true to yourself and others. I maybe be mistaking from my kindness is my weakness true is I am strong enough to have faith in God that every challenge that I receive because God love me so much he brought all challenges from who ever to my life to make me wiser.Bottom line if you are doing things to others without expecting of return you will never feel you have been use . Give with unconditional love is the way. My grand father once said "Feel good to receive but much more joyful to give"
this point of my life I truly understand now what he meant.
