Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Fire Cupping, & Gua Sha Dr April is an avid swimmer and scuba diver.

Dr April Johnston prides herself on bringing her science background into her work, and she tirelessly keeps up with the latest evidence based research on diseases, preventative health and nutrition. She specifically chose a doctoral program that was integrative between western and eastern medicine. She swims before work every day and can be found diving and shooting underwater photos on days off.

She is also a huge animal lover and loves spending time with her horse, three sassy pet birds and sweet elderly dog. She and her husband have traveled the world extensively for diving and birding and do a lot of charitable volunteer work in sub Saharan Africa.
