Many many many years ago we had a vision of starting a mission school. We felt God say to do it with youth with a mission. In 2014 we packed up our 5 kids and our ministry partners Sam and Chris Kimmel packed their 3 kids and we headed to Kona Hawaii to obey what we had heard. 10 years later, we are on Last Frontier Ministries campus gearing up for our first discipleship training school through youth with a mission, and Brad Weidman and Ticee Graham are doing an amazing job in staff training! If God has whispered something to you listen. It might not happen over night, but if your faithful…. He is so faithful. YWAM Denali DTS opens April 3rd 2024!

Our Story

VISION

It’s about more than just medicine. We believe that Jesus cares about and wants to heal the “whole person.” We desire to create a place where healthcare professionals and those interested in the medical field can learn to use their skills and talents for His Kingdom, while also learning about and administering God’s heart for healing.

FOCUS

Healthcare professionals and those interested in healthcare are welcome to come deepen their relationship with God and be further equipped in making Him known. Our founding scripture comes from Revelation 22:1 & 2, where it refers to the leaves of the Tree of Life being for the healing of the nations. In addition to that passage, 1 Thessalonians 5 speaks about being sanctified spirit, soul and body. Other Scriptures challenge us to health and holiness. Healing to the whole person is the approach we see Jesus using in the Gospels. He healed both from the inside out and the outside in. This school will help students to examine and enter into these other dimensions of healing.
