A wonderful concert and message from yesterday with my Pastor, Dr. Robert Jeffress and the inimitable choir and orchestra of the First Baptist Church of Dallas Texas under the direction of Dr. Tyler Brinson and Dr. Joe Hardin. There were many decisions for Christ made here in Hawaii!

I recently spent several days in Alsop en le Dale, England where Gamellus de Allsopp was granted land by Wiiliam I the Conqueror shorlty after he conquered England at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. The Domesday Book of 1086 lists him as owning the land of Alsop. Here is a short video of my travels there. Gamellus is our 29th great grandfather. John Alsop was a pastor of the church there in 1600 and a leader in the reformation. He was our 13th great grandfather and his sister and two sons were the first to sail to America in 1630 as pilgrims. Alsop Manor was built in the 1500's and the church dates back to nearly to the year 1000. There is also an earlier manor pictured that may date to the 11the century.
