The world feels noisy — politics, the environment, the news cycle, the constant hum of doing. Many of us begin the new year already racing.
But what if this year began differently — not with more effort, but with more awareness?
This three-week course —
seven sessions (four 90-minute and three 60-minute gatherings) —
invites a deliberate pause from the rush of everyday life.
Through time-tested practices and simple teachings, we rediscover a steadier, kinder version of ourselves — one nourished by knowledge, mindfulness, and connection.
Topics include:
Mindfulness of the Body — using breath and sensation as anchors when life feels unsteady.
Recognizing Feeling Tones — noticing the first spark of pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral before it becomes a storm.
Mindfulness of Emotions — learning to hold difficult feelings with warmth instead of resistance.
Mindfulness of Thoughts — observing the mind’s stories without being swept away.
Cultivating Positive Neuroplasticity — training the brain toward joy, gratitude, and connection.
Foundational Brain Science — understanding how awareness reshapes the nervous system.
The Actual Time to Practice — guided meditations, journaling, and reflection woven into every session.
