This past week and weekend, I coached someone through their first 3-day water fast and taught a Sattva Meditation Course, initiating some beautiful beings into an ancient lineage.

It’s easy to get swept up in all the new wellness trends, but at the end of the day, I always find myself returning to ancient wisdom for modern living.

Our hunter-gatherer ancestors couldn’t just dial up Uber Eats. Sometimes they went days without food. They didn’t call it fasting — they called it life.

Yogis living in the Himalayas didn’t need apps or guided meditations backed by research studies. They understood the power of breath, mantra, and stillness — how these practices could calm the nervous system, focus the mind, and help transcend the ego.

When people begin to dive deeper into the practices and teachings I share, they soon realize it’s not about fixing anything. It’s about remembering who you truly are and reconnecting to your infinite potential.

But to do that, you have to make time for YOU.

Why on earth would anyone want fast 15 hours much less for three days? Well, here’s a timeline that tells the benefits of fasting up to 72 hours. Congrats to the folks who are currently doing a 3 day water fast with me and very close to that magical time when you get that free boost of stem cells! It’s so amazing what our body will do and how it can repair itself when we give it the space and trust to do it do it’s thing.

You are a miracle. ✨

I’m doing it along with some amazing women who said YES to something that is relatively simple and yet so few people do it.

Someone asked me today…

“Are you still working with people in terms nutrition and fasting (specifically the “Fast Like a Girl” protocols)?”

The answer is YES!!!

Even though I’ve been very focused lately on teaching Himalayan kriya and meditation, I’m still super passionate about helping people, especially women, optimize their physical health and balance hormones.

The truth is… you can do all of the “right things” (eat healthy, fast & detox, exercise, take the right supplements…etc), but if you’re recycling negative thoughts and unhealthy patterns in your mind… your head is running the show.

Dis-ease in the mind leads to disease in the body.

We are whole beings requiring an holistic approach to health.
