🌿 Meet the “Phlegm Point” – ST 40 (Fenglong) 🌿

This powerful acupressure point is known as the Master Point of Phlegm. In Chinese medicine, phlegm isn’t just the mucus in your lungs — it can also show up as sluggish digestion, bloating, brain fog, and even looping thoughts that feel hard to shake.

✨ Pressing or massaging ST 40 can help:
Clear chest phlegm → ease cough, congestion, and asthma
Clear digestive phlegm → reduce bloating and sluggish digestion
Clear mental phlegm → calm worry, obsessive thoughts, and foggy mind

💛 Try massaging ST 40 for 1–2 minutes on each leg with gentle circular pressure while breathing deeply. Notice how your body and mind feel afterwards.

🌀 A perfect point for clearing clutter — both physical and emotional — as we shift into a new season.

Think of it as a soft reset for your stomach + intestines. 🌱

Especially helpful after heavy meals of bread, rice, or carbs.

✨ Always consult with a licensed herbalist before using herbs.

✨ Meet Spleen 6 (SP6) ✨

This powerful acupressure point is known as an all-around balancer in Chinese medicine.

The Spleen’s role is to transform food into energy, support healthy digestion, nourish muscles, and manage blood and circulation. It also connects our body and mind—when we’re stressed or overthinking, the Spleen can become depleted.

By massaging SP6, located about 4 fingers above the inner ankle bone just behind the shin, you can:

🌿 Support digestion & energy
🌿 Calm stress and improve sleep
🌿Naturally induce labor
🌿 Balance menstrual health
🌿 Nourish skin & circulation

👉 Try massaging gently for 1–2 minutes on each side while breathing deeply.

This simple practice helps ground the body, calm the mind, and restore balance.

Feeling the lingering late summer heat? 🌞

ST 44 (Neiting) is a simple acupressure point that helps cool and rebalance the body. It can quench thirst, ease that restless “too hot” feeling, calm frequent yawning from heat fatigue, and support digestion.

👉 To try it: locate the point on the top of your foot, between the 2nd + 3rd toes in the webbing.

Press and rub for 1–2 minutes on each foot to release excess heat and restore balance. 🌿✨

How acupuncturists feel about acupuncture point STOMACH 36 during LATE SUMMER…

As the seasons shift, so does our internal balance. Late summer is an especially important time to tonify and boost the Spleen (which can become deficient during this time) and the immune system, in order to get ready for the changes and potential influx of possible colds and flus. Therefore, ST36 (Zusanli) is crucial in late summer to tonify the Spleen, boost digestion, and strengthen the immune system—helping your body stay resilient through seasonal transitions and ward off illness. Support your center, support your health. 💪🍂Come get it and feel the Qi!!!!

Did you know there’s an acupuncture point on your pinky that supports milk flow? 🌸

SI-1 (Shaoze) is located at the outer corner of your pinky fingernail, and it’s often used in Chinese medicine to promote lactation, ease engorgement, and support the body in postpartum healing.

Gently massage this point using small circular motions for 1–2 minutes. You can try this before breastfeeding, during, or after to help stimulate flow and reduce discomfort.

Always pair this with rest, nourishment, and hydration. And of course, consult your care team for any serious lactation concerns. đź’—
