It is hard to believe we have just entered into November 2021. The past 2 years have held so much for all of us. Some of us have experienced great loss and / or difficult changes that we did not choose to experience. Although these happenings may have turned our worlds upside down, these events have also given us a new perspective, an opportunity to look at things differently. Perhaps they have shown us that we are stronger than we know or that we have a deeper peace within us than we were aware of before, or that we have a greater support system than we realized.

Whatever these things may be for you, I would like to take a moment to be thankful for the loving and kind people who are in my life. YOU are these people.

We have been very fortunate here at Kailua Massage Therapy to be able to keep our doors open and continue to do this healing work. We could not do this without your support.

I can see the stress in my client’s eyes. They need this hour to be completely removed from the intensity that daily life can bring. When I see that look, my love and empathy go into overdrive.

I believe that’s when I’m the most focused, my hands are the most gentle yet strong, and my heart connection pours through me into the client. I am able to transmit my love and care into my lomi and the client feels the changes happening. Yes, they will experience the muscle tension relief, but the big smiles and the change in their eyes afterward is always what I love to see!

The ability to assist an individual in removing some of the daily stresses of life is something I cherish. It makes for a stronger person, someone more prepared for what’s ahead. How could I be doing more meaningful work? I’m very, very grateful.

I believe each of our excellent therapists feel this way as well. We’ve only brought in therapists that share our ideals and goals. If you’re feeling like you need some revitalization, come see any of us. I promise we can help.
