We don't have an information deficit. We have an integration problem.

More testing. More tracking. More AI recommendations. But very little guidance on how it all fits together.
Ayurveda is a systems framework. It doesn't isolate a symptom. Instead, it asks: What system is this arising from? What conditions allowed it to take hold? What patterns are repeating?

It looks at digestion, not just what you eat, but how you process it. Sleep, not just duration, but rhythm. Stress, not just the trigger, but your response.

And instead of layering more interventions on top of disintegration, it organizes the system.

What if your relationship with food could feel peaceful? Ayurveda teaches that food is meant to nourish us. Not stress us out. But for so many women, eating has become tangled up with rules, guilt, or anxiety.

Eating in the Light of the Moon, written by psychologist Anita Johnston, helps unravel that. Not by telling you what to eat, but by helping you understand the deeper story underneath.

This will be a gentle, supportive conversation space. No judgment. No fixing. Just reflection and community. If you've ever wanted a healthier, kinder relationship with food, this conversation might be for you.

If you've been trying to take Ayurvedic actions on your own and just aren't getting the results you hoped for — this post is for you.

At the Ayurvedic Wellness Center, a clinical Ayurvedic consultation begins with a thorough intake to understand your unique Ayurvedic constitution. From there, our clinicians build a completely personalized protocol, which may include food and lifestyle changes, breathwork (pranayama), Ayurvedic herbs, therapeutic oils, and more.

One of our clients recently shared this in a 5-star Google review:
"If you’ve been trying to take Ayurvedic actions/changes on your own and just aren’t getting the results you want, you might consider doing clinical work with an Ayurvedic practitioner such as Kara. She has the knowledge and experience to deeply hear what you need and knows what to focus on first to bring our systems back to balance." — L.S.K.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We offer two care pathways: Clinical Consultations for those who want targeted expert guidance, and Thrive Coaching for those ready for deep, supported transformation.

Your first step is a complimentary discovery call. No commitment, just a conversation.

Meet Meagan ✨

Meagan is a licensed massage therapist trained in Ayurvedic bodywork, offering therapeutic massage sessions that incorporate marma therapy, an Ayurvedic acupressure designed to activate vital energy points in the body.

She’s been studying and practicing Ayurveda since 2013, with over a decade of immersion in its bodywork therapies.

Her go-to stress practice?
Bhramari (Humming Bee Breath).
This gentle humming breath calms the nervous system, quiets the mind, and can shift your state in minutes.

Her must-try ritual? Morning Abhyanga (self-oil massage).
A few intentional minutes of warm oil before your shower can create grounding, nourishment, and resilience for the day ahead.

Right now, she’s especially excited about offering Pinda Sveda, a deeply therapeutic Ayurvedic treatment that combines heat, herbs, and oil to support circulation and release.

If you’re curious about experiencing bodywork that goes beyond muscle tension, Meagan is someone to meet.

This book changed how .linde.ayurveda thinks about food… completely.

Eating in the Light of the Moon isn't a diet book. It isn't a nutrition book.

It's a book about the stories women carry about food, hunger, control, and nourishment. It uses myth and storytelling to help us see those patterns with compassion instead of judgment.

We're reading it together, slowly, over six weeks, and talking about what it brings up.

Stability in the body isn't a luxury. It's a necessity. It's what allows you to respond rather than react. To think clearly. To make grounded decisions. To sustain energy over time.

This isn't about ignoring what's happening in the world. It's about recognizing that resilience is built internally. Especially when the external winds whip up.

In clinical work, we focus on what builds capacity: Rhythm. Nourishment. Digestive strength. Sleep consistency. Stress response.

Because your system still needs coherence. Even when everything around you doesn't.

Your health plan wasn’t wrong. It was just incomplete.

Many clients come to Ayurveda after trying everything: practitioners, specialists, and detailed protocols. Real effort. Real investment. And still searching for answers.

Previous approaches often address a lab result. A diagnosis. But not the context in which the diagnosis is occurring. Not the life. Not the system.

At AWC, we always begin at the beginning. We don't just look at a symptom. We look at where it occurs. When. Its qualities. What shows up alongside it. And once we've built a protocol that addresses the origins, implementation is part of the medicine. We support you in applying it. We troubleshoot. We adjust. We stay in it with you.

Because the plan that works isn't the most detailed one. It's the one that's responsive, phased, and actually sustainable.

This is what makes clinical Ayurveda different.

Meet Ella ✨

As Assistant Operations Manager, Ella helps keep the center running smoothly behind the scenes so your experience feels seamless. Her goal is to ensure you feel cared for from the moment you reach out or walk through our doors.

She has been practicing Ayurveda for three years and integrates it into her daily life.

Her go-to reset?
Coming back to her breath, brewing a large cup of Vata tea, applying Stress Less Aromatherapy Roller, and putting on a great song to shake it out.

Her simple tip for everyone:
Scrape your tongue each morning.
It takes less than 30 seconds and supports digestion, oral health, and clarity.

What at AWC is she most excited for right now? She’s most excited about clients experiencing our new online apothecary!

Thanks, Ella, for all you do to keep AWC running smoothly!

We're starting a book club!

The Nourish Circle is a new community offering created to bring women together in meaningful conversation, reflection, and connection.

We will begin with Eating in the Light of the Moon, a powerful and poetic exploration of women and their relationship with food, written by psychologist Anita Johnston.

Blending storytelling, myth, and clinical insight, this book invites readers to consider how food can become intertwined with identity, emotion, control, comfort, and longing. Rather than offering rules or prescriptions, it opens space for deeper reflection and compassion.

It's free to join us. So come, engage and build community at the AWC.

We have access to more health data than ever. We’re able to track, take supplements, and get lab work done, but we often see clients still not feeling the way they want to feel.

More Data Isn't the Problem. The lack of Integration Is. Data requires translation. Labs require context: your dosha, the season, and your stage of life. Symptoms evolve over time. They tell a story.

AI can generate a plan in seconds. But a clinician tracks patterns and sees context that allows for a container for healing and accountability. It’s our job at AWC to help you connect the dots and address the subtle underlying the physical. To partner with you in wellness. To empower you in your healing.
