Little Har Bear had knee surgery today and after breaking his foot on Christmas Eve, we are hoping he is finally on the road to recovery. He has Grade 4 patellar luxation, which has been affecting his mobility since I rescued him. The vet suspects something may have happened early in his life, and as his back legs strengthened, his lack of muscle development became more noticeable.

Harry is one of the sweetest boys—he can be a bit of a stubborn tornado some days—but he completes my little family, and Thomas and I couldn’t be happier.

Nicole- you have always been one of the most caring people I know. I am honored to still call you my friend of 18 years! What a rollercoaster it has been but the lessons you’ve taught me have truly impacted my life in amazing ways. Thank you for being kind and thank you for forgiving me for breaking your foot! You and Nic are amazing and I look forward to seeing you grow as a couple!

This is Otis. His brother Milo was just as fun and just as energetic but was more interest in jumping on my legs than getting his picture taken.

It wasn’t til I got back that night did I realize their names were Milo and Otis. So cute and such a good childhood movie.
