It’s snowing. It’s blowing. And we gotta keep those babies warm!

Did you know that Dr. Jess is also a CPST (child passenger safety technician)?!?!

Puffy coats, buntings and snowsuits CANNOT be worn safely in a car seat. You may think baby is in nice and tight, but in the event of a collision, the crash forces will be sufficient to compress the puffy materials and allow the child to slip out of the restraints.

One great alternative to coats or loose blankets is a car seat poncho! Its can be worn between trips to the car and won’t get dropped in the slushy mess on the ground, all while allowing the harness straps to be fitted snuggly against the child’s body.

Our pediatric dream team:
jen.long is certified in cranial adjusting, and trained by the and the International Chiropractic Association. She has extensive knowledge of pediatric developmental disorders, mental health conditions and developmental progressions.

is the current VP for the and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. She has completed training with the American Chiropractic Association Pediatrics Council and Motional Palpation Institute, as well as various courses related to lactation, airway health, acupuncture and pediatric movement.
dc has taken several pediatric adjusting courses and loves to work with older kiddos and student athletes. She also has extensive training in hormone health and nutrition.
