🚨 Don’t wait until you’re in agony 🚨

A client came in this week for their normal monthly session and mentioned they had injured themselves 3 weeks ago.
In that time, they had seen their doctor, chiropractor, and even their dentist....all trying to figure out how to ease the pain. By the time they made it to my table, they were still miserable.

Massage isn’t just “relaxation.” With almost 11 years of experience, I knew right away we needed focused work.

I explained that this session would be upper body only, with intense work on the injured side and lighter work on the other.

Within minutes, they realized they needed more time....we shifted from a 90-minute session to 2 hours.....and I still went over a bit to balance things out.

Afterward, I gave them stretches, reminded them to drink more water than usual, and rescheduled them in 2 weeks instead of their normal 4-week routine. I also told them: if things flare up again, it’s OK to call or text sooner.

Here’s the truth: I consider injury sessions emergencies....as long as your doctor has cleared you for massage. Waiting too long comes with real risks:
❌ Time off work
❌ Surgery
❌ Medication dependence
❌ Forcing your body to overcompensate
❌ Permanent loss of range of motion
