Dear Community,

We have made the difficult decision to cancel and reschedule tonight’s Cars in the Corners Show (July 24, 5:30p-7:30p).

We were met early with the challenge of the heat, and now across several weather radars, the possibility of severe thunderstorms right around the start of our event. With that combination, we have decided that the safety and well-being of our attendees, participants, residents and staff must remain our top priority, (and the beautiful cars!!). While we are deeply disappointed to cancel an event of this magnitude, we greatly appreciate your understanding and support.

We are currently working on a new date and look forward to welcoming everyone who planned to attend, to our rescheduled event. Thank you again for your patience, and stay safe should storms move in tonight.

WEATHER AND CAR SHOW UPDATE

We are aware of the potential for incoming storms today and are monitoring the weather. We will make a call to cancel or continue the show by 3pm. Please keep an eye on the event page for updates. Thank you for your support and understanding.

We are getting prepped for the "Cars in the Corners" car show TOMORROW, and wanted to pass on some "Know Before You Go" info

Show Time- 5:30p-7:30p

Spectator parking will be located on Vineyard Parkway (see signs)

Niskers will be on-site grilling up burgers and brats, a meal, which includes pasta salad, chips, and a cookie, can be purchased for $15 (CASH ONLY)

We will have water stations located throughout the parking lot to make sure we all stay hydrated.

Just Paint will be on hand to offer some awesome face painting fun during the event.

Due to unforeseen events, we will not have the Packard on-site from The Gilmore Car Museum 😞😞

A wonderful thank you to Melissa from Advia Credit Union on Q Ave. for painting our raised garden beds! A big thank you to volunteer Susan Centilla for leading the stenciling project for a finishing touch! Residents Jackie W. & Delora D. helped with the stenciled flowers. A grand thank you to volunteer Gary Hainrihar for leading our residents through the planting process! As you can see the team work was fruitful!

We had a wonderful outing at The Backyard of Kalamazoo yesterday. Our staff and their families enjoyed a wonderful day in the sun ☀️ playing yard games, enjoying good food, and relaxing. 😎
