We are SO EXCITED to have Gene Coulter join FC!!! While he waits on the state to issue his license he will be beginning MRT groups serving the men and women participating in Drug Treatment Court programs.

About a hundred years ago, so long ago that only Nicole Parker and I remember, Gene interned with us and we thought he was pretty great. I told him that when he graduated to reach out and he will have a job if he wants one. He graduated and he has a job! When you make an impression like he did, the world becomes your oyster. Gene we are so excited to have you!

We are happy to put you on a waitlist to meet with Gene pending the state issuing his license, and can let you know as soon as that happens. Gene is interested in working with adolescents through adults with a broad range of needs. Just started a new book. Joseph E. Reid shares his story of the ongoing challenges of living with chronic mental health difficulties. He offers suggestions for the readers on coping with their own chronic mental health experiences. Broken People; A Mental Health Peer Support Group is Joseph's page where he gives ongoing encouragement and reminders, and where members can share their own thoughts, successes, and frustrations.

January 1st we are opening an office in Mattawan! This office will feature Amber Larsen who specializes in children through young adults and Nicole Parker who is a trauma therapy and EMDR guru.

We look forward to serving the Mattawan community for years to come and getting to know the neighbors!

Biggest shoutout IN THE WORLD to Virginia Fives, LMSW. Virginia recently passed her licensing test to become fully, independently licensed!!!!

Becoming a therapist takes a master's degree followed by several years of supervised work and finally, a licensing test. Therapists carry an extra "L" standing for "Limited" on their title until then, and now Virginia gets to drop the L!

Congratulations, Virginia! Your people here at FC are so proud of you and happy for you. Your hard work, dedication to your clients, and commitment to the standards of your profession are only a small part of what makes you the amazing therapist that you are! To infinity and beyond!
