Hope Thomas, LMT - she/they
Hope graduated from Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts in 2019 with a keen interest in pursuing Craniosacral Therapy. They had been introduced to Cranial work during school and found it to have a profoundly deep impact on their nervous system, both as a client and as a practitioner. Shortly after graduation, Hope completed Craniosacral Therapy 1 through Upledger Institute.
While in Kalamazoo, Hope practiced Hospice massage as well as working at the West Michigan Cancer Center as a massage therapist. Working with these populations, Hope learned the importance of meeting clients where they are at and holding space for however that may show up.
In the fall of 2020, Hope moved to Seattle, Washington, where they continued their education by completing Craniosacral Therapy 2 through Upledger. While living in Seattle, Hope was able to hone in on her unique blend of bodywork with the incredible support and encouragement of her mentor and employer at The Still Point Massage Therapy Clinic.
Hope enjoys weaving Craniosacral Therapy alongside swedish massage, acupressure, myofascial facilitation, direction of energy, and cupping. Their intention as a bodyworker is to deeply listen to each client’s body and gently offer space, as well as physical, energetic, and emotional relief with a grounded presence and loving kindness. Clients also have the option to remain fully clothed for their appointment if they want to experience a fully Craniosacral session.
Outside of massage therapy, Hope is also a musician, artist, and devoted aunt, daughter, and sister.
