Recipient Rights Training for Recipients provides people receiving mental health services, parents, and guardians with the knowledge and skills they need to exercise and protect their rights when receiving public mental health services. Goal: To help individuals receiving services and those advocating for them understand the rights guaranteed by the Michigan Mental Health Code.

Who Should Attend: Anyone receiving mental health services from ISK or one of its contracted provider agencies. Parents and guardians of persons served. *If you are unsure whether your mental health provider is included, please call Greg Paulsen at 269-666-4000* Participants will have the opportunity to learn about their rights when receiving public mental health services and what to do if they believe their rights have not been met.
