Amanda Valente, LMT, graduated from the IHSI Institute of Massage in May 2025, and became licensed in June 2025. She is certified in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release I and silicone cupping, and has completed continuing education in general neck pain through ABMP. Her experience includes attending an Anti-Inflammatory Lifestyle seminar in October 2025 and working alongside a naturopathic doctor, where she aimed to enhance clients' wellness journeys. Amanda played soccer at a young age and then ran track and cross country for years. She has also used yoga and weightlifting as a means to stay healthy throughout her life. Amanda's massage is not your typical Swedish massage. She uses no oils or creams and employs lots of stretching and myofascial techniques to create lasting relief! "The medical massage I learned is focused around deep tissue work without the pain. Using positional therapy allows me to get deeper into the muscles while they are relaxed, allowing me to make a change in the tissue without discomfort. Additionally I use a lot of joint movement, facilitated energy technique exercises (contract and relax) and myofascial release exercises to help reduce tension and adhesions along with helping increase range of motion."
Amanda specializes in runners and weight lifters.
