With great sadness, we inform you that our dear friend Alan Forrester passed on December 15th, 2025, here at Kairos Dwelling. Alan was one of our very first volunteers, and he was much more than a co-worker; he was a mentor, a friend, and a light of positivity for everyone who met him. Alan leaves a quiet but powerful space in all our lives and in those whom he cared for, along with their families. Alan was sincere, respectful, and always a gentle man. He left his mark on all of us. His kindness and his sense of humor were truly one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed.

Alan, it is hard to think about moving forward without you, but we will carry your memory in the way we work and treat each other, always striving for the compassion you showed to all. Thank you for being such an important part of Kairos Dwelling. You embodied the heart of Kairos, and you will forever live in the hearts of us all.

Another successful outing! We had so much fun on Monday for our 19th Annual Golf Outing. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Kairos!! We would not be here without the tremendous generosity of our community. We will see you all again next year!

We are just three months away from our Golf Scramble and could not be more excited!

We will be returning to the Gull Lake Country Club this year, so be sure to come out and enjoy the day with us! If you would like to participate but don’t want to golf, you can purchase a dinner ticket for $40 to come enjoy our silent auction, dinner, and good company!
*Please note that you only need to purchase a dinner ticket if you are not signed up for a foursome, all foursomes come with dinner included.*

It was a bit of a gloomy morning, but we had a great time with our crew helping out with our annual Spring Cleanup! Everything looks amazing, we are so thankful for all of our fantastic volunteers and staff who put in the hard work today to get our property cleaned up and ready for spring & summer!

Happy Valentine's Day!

If you've been around for a while, you may know that Valentine's Day also happens to be Kairos' Anniversary! This year we celebrate 25 years of serving the community.
25 years of providing a loving home & compassionate care around the clock at no charge to the families that come to us. We are incredibly blessed to have served this community for 25 years and look forward to continuing for another 25!

It was so wonderful seeing our friends and volunteers today to celebrate this milestone with us. If you missed us, don't worry! We will be hosting a celebration for this accomplishment when the weather becomes a bit more accommodating... details to come!
