TIP OF THE WEEK: If you’re like many people who have packed daily schedules but still want to get in the 7 to 9 hours of recommended sleep each night, you need to fall asleep as soon as you can once your head hits the pillow.

You may want to keep lights dim in the bathroom and bedroom before getting in bed. Also, if you turn on lights of any kind during the night (that means the glow from checking your smartphone, too), you may reset your internal clock and may wake up at the same time the next night.
