Volunteer opportunity at Logan Health - Whitefish!

We are seeking compassionate volunteers to greet our patients and visitors at our north and south hospital entrances. Greeters will answer general questions, attend our registration desks and help patients and visitors navigate directions.

✨ Provider Spotlight: Derek Kastella, PA-C

We are excited to introduce Derek Kastella, PA-C, an advanced practice provider at Logan Health Primary Care – 160 Heritage Way. Derek joined Logan Health in December 2025 and practices family medicine, partnering with patients to find the health solutions that best fit their needs. With a strong clinical foundation and deep roots in Northwest Montana, Derek is proud to care for patients close to home and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.

Logan Health Medical Center is expanding imaging access in the Flathead Valley by offering MRI exams on Saturdays and Sundays, becoming the only facility in the area to offer outpatient MRI appointments on the weekend. This expanded access gives patients more scheduling flexibility and helps prevent missed work or school.

We love New Year's babies!!

The first baby of 2026 arrived at Logan Health Medical Center on January 1 at 4:44 a.m., weighing 5 lbs., 5 oz. and measuring 19 inches long. What a special way to ring in the New Year!

New Year's Holiday Hours:

We’re here to help you stay healthy this holiday season:
• Our seasonal walk-in clinic in the Whitefish Base Lodge will be open New Year’s Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Walk-in care will also be available New Year's Day at 160 Heritage Way from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• All other Logan Health offices and clinics will be closed New Year’s Day.

In the event of an emergency, please visit the nearest emergency department. Wishing everyone a safe and healthy holiday season!
