Meet Coach Zach!
Zach is a Montana native with a lifelong passion for fitness and self-improvement. Growing up
playing sports, he developed a strong appreciation for hard work and an active lifestyle early on.
After experiencing a few injuries through sports and training, Zach became fascinated with how
the body moves and recovers, which inspired him to pursue a deeper understanding of human
performance.
He went on to study Health and Human Performance at Montana State University, where he
built a strong foundation in exercise science, anatomy, and nutrition. Today, Zach channels that
same passion into the fitness industry as an amateur bodybuilder and coach. He’s dedicated to
continual growth, both in and out of the gym, and loves helping others build strength,
confidence, and discipline through fitness. For Zach, it’s not just about lifting weights; it’s about
building a lifestyle that pushes you to become your best self.

When I opened the doors to Engage Fitness, I had been in the personal training business for a little over 5 years. During that tenure, I was able to work with some amazing clients and make some interesting observations.
Everyone wants to be healthy, but everyone has a different opinion of what ‘healthy’ or ‘fit’ looks like. Magazines, commercials and movies have given our community an unrealistic expectation of what it looks like to be healthy or fit. Take a look at different sports. From swimmers to baseball players, kayakers to mountain climbers, every body looks different. An individual fit for one lifestyle might not be fit for another. Therefore, fitness is subject to your specific lifestyle. This is what we provide, “Fitness for your lifestyle.”
Health on the other hand is different. Health is “the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit”...at least according to Webster. It is this definition of health that we at Engage Fitness hold dear. We desire to help our clients engage, go after, relentlessly pursue their health; body, soul and spirit.
