We’ve been informed of a scam targeting patients using Medicare and Medicaid, and in some cases, scammers are spoofing the Heart & Hands phone number so it appears the call is coming from our clinic.

These callers may offer “free genetic testing” or other covered services in an attempt to collect your Medicare/Medicaid number or personal information.

⚠️ Please know:
• Heart & Hands will never call you unexpectedly to request your Medicare or Medicaid number.
• We do not offer genetic testing unless it is discussed directly with your provider.
• We will never pressure you to give personal insurance information over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious call that looks like it’s from us:
1️⃣ Hang up.
2️⃣ Call our clinic directly at our main number to verify.
3️⃣ Do not share your insurance ID, Social Security number, or banking information.

Your safety and privacy are extremely important to us. If you have questions or believe you were contacted by a scammer, please call our office right away so we can help guide you.

Kendra is a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) and a lifelong Montana resident. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from Carroll College in Helena, MT, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY. Kendra brings a diverse nursing background, with experience in labor and delivery, postpartum care, the newborn nursery, and pediatric inpatient psychiatric care.

She is excited to join the Heart and Hands team and to make the move to the Flathead area. Kendra has a strong passion for supporting expecting parents as they work toward their childbirth goals and for promoting health and wellness across the lifespan.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, tending to her extensive houseplant collection, and relaxing on the couch with her golden retriever.
