Happy Fat Tuesday from all of us at Kanawha Community Home! 💜💛💚

Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras with festive Bingo, colorful masks, and lots of laughter. The room was full of smiles, friendly competition, and great Mardi Gras spirit!

It was a fun way to celebrate together and let the good times roll! 🎭

We have received so many wonderful Valentines this year through Hearts Across America! ❤️ We are still waiting to hear from many states, but as you can see, love is already pouring in from across this great country.

Our residents at Kanawha Community Home have been thrilled to receive cards from families, friends, schools, and other care facilities just like ours. Each Valentine brings smiles, joy, and a reminder of how connected we all are.

Thank you to everyone who has sent love our way — we can’t wait to see how many more states join us! 🇺🇸

It has been a week full of love at Kanawha Community Home! ❤️

Yesterday we had What’s Cooking with Chelby decorating cookies 🍪 — and today we turned up the heat for Valentine’s Day!

Cody grilled delicious bacon-wrapped filet mignon from Fareway for our special Valentine’s lunch. Residents enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak, baked potato, and all the fixings! 🥩🥔

Judy sweetened things up with beautiful parfaits for everyone, and we topped it all off with a little sparkling wine/grape juice to celebrate. 🥂

Earlier this week, we also enjoyed some extra love and snuggles from MacKenzie’s Great Dane 🐾 — and spent time creating our cute Valentine door hangings to decorate the halls!

Great food, sweet treats, puppy love, and creative fun made for a perfect Valentine’s celebration! 💘

Going for the gold! 🏅❤️

Our residents had a blast celebrating the Olympics with some friendly competition, teamwork, and lots of laughs. The spirit was strong, the smiles were even stronger, and everyone was a winner today! 🎉🏆

🎉🏈 Super Bowl Weekend Fun at Kanawha! 🏈🎉

We kicked off the weekend early on Friday with some of our favorite Super Bowl snacks and drinks! 🍿🥤 From cheesy dips to sweet treats, our table was ready for game day energy! 😄

We even tried our hand at a little field goal challenge with a slingshot — lots of laughs and almost a few extra points! 😂🥅

Sunday’s the BIG day — Super Bowl LX is set for Sunday, February 8th at 6:30 p.m. ET / 3:30 p.m. PT with the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium!
