📌 What is Acuscope & Myopulse?
• It’s the only microcurrent modality on the market that offers biofeedback technology. It reads cellular activity and gauges how inflamed certain areas are. All while re charging those cells and reducing the inflammation. Acuscope/ Myopulse self calibrate to the tissue through out the whole treatment. Therefore we can not over stimulate.
📌 What is Microcurrent?
• micro current = micro amps. It’s mimics the bodies natural healing process, while only delivering what the body can handle. Our goal is to re teach the body to be correct on a cellular level.
📌 What does it help heal?
• Soft tissue injuries, bone bruising, open wounds, swelling, abscesses, body soreness, improves range of motion, increases blood flow to old injuries to help take down the scar tissue.
📌 How many treatments?
• Ideally, accurate readings come after a series of treatments. Once we get to know what’s “normal” and what isn’t, we get a better idea of how many. Some horses body balance faster than others. Over time, you can do fewer treatments than what you start with. It’s a process that pays off along the way.
📌 When do you like to treat a performance horse for the first time?
• If possible, a week before the event. We can help a lot of things prior to the event.
- If that’s not possible, the day before your first go or after your first go. I suggest 12hrs to let the body adjust.
The horses I do regularly, get treated hours before and after they perform. But their treatment plan has been made long before the events.
📌 What’s the catch?
• Not feeding your horse properly. Your vet work is lacking. Your farrier is creating issues. There’s only so much any body worker can do when the foundation isn’t laid right. Often times, I’ll help you spend your money in better areas before spending it on a single treatment. I treat the horse as a whole, and that doesn’t only Include myself. I cannot diagnose but I will help with what I can!
