Our Story

I did not intend to be a business owner. My father had his own business, first as a farmer and then as an electrical contractor. I had the feeling that my mother felt that if she didn’t run the office, the business would fail and we would be penniless.

As it turned out, my father was a very good and especially ethical business man. He was also an astute investor and left my mother with more than enough to live on until her death.

I chose the “safer” path of the salaried work -- teaching, first English in a private high school and then for many years teaching music at the community college level.

One of my community college students introduced me to a company that had changed her life and would ultimately change mine. I had tried network marketing once before, but this venture was not a good fit for me.
