Habilitat Hawaii Habilitat - Place of Change / School of Survival Habilitat Hawai'i is a long-term residential treatment facility located on the island of Oahu in Hawaii.

Founded in 1971, by Vinny Marino, the organization is dedicated to helping individuals struggling with addiction and other behavioral health issues to overcome their challenges and build the skills and resilience they need to lead healthy and productive lives. Here at Habilitat, community is the method.
For so long, we believed we had to carry it all by ourselves. We pushed people away. We built walls instead of bridges. We thought staying disconnected kept us safe — but really, it kept us stuck. It kept us in the dark.

Today we were blessed with a epic visit from Landon McNamara — not just an artist, but a voice of truth and resilience. He didn’t just come to perform — he came to connect. 💙 An Unexpected Reunion 💙�She wasn’t expecting to see her mom.�It had been nearly two years since they last saw each other—so when she walked into the room and saw her mom quietly waiting, everything else faded away.
The room was filled with tears, joy, and that deep, unspoken kind of love.
For a mother, there’s no greater relief than knowing your child is safe and doing well. And for a daughter, seeing that familiar face after so long is something you carry with you.
