The included graphic represents the tragic number, ages, and gender of drug overdose deaths in Kankakee County during 2021. Unfortunately, 2022 is off to a bad start already with one (1) confirmed overdose death and six (6) additional cases pending toxicology testing. 84% of all overdose deaths in 2021 contained Fentanyl, 46% tested positive for Co***ne, and 15% had He**in. Please help us continue to educate the county on the dangers associated with drug use!
