I always told my residents to speak to the Doctors they replaced to find out why they left a hospital. It always is an enlightening experience. Once they come out of the ether that recruiters spray they can find out what a job is really like and how their predecessors were treated .

As I have said it before. The hospital administrators get rid of the physicians. Then they get rid of their Nurse Practicioners. At last the Physician Assistance. This is in order of expense. Artificial intelligence then will take over. We will have to talk to a monitor with an AI droid. It will start in the local hospitals first as the admin pockets more revenue.

Today the Tech gurus have announced that 25% of the workforce will be replaced in the next five years by Artificial Intelligence AI . I’m sure Local hospitals and and their CEO’s will jump on this as a cost savers heaven for them. Especially hospitals in low density populations that advertise they are In The top 100 hospitals as long as they pay for that designation. It’s possible that Doctors , nurses, PA’s and Nurse Practicioners will be phased out to robotic televisions with Artificial intelligence capability. Unless there is a specific need for a human to treat a patient ie Surgery, there will be little patient direct person to person contact. This nightmare is already being studied by drooling Administartors. How does this provide better care. ? Admin will sell this to there hand picked boards.

This was the best Urological office in Kankakee. It was headed by Joel Slutsky MD FACS assistant Professor of Urology at Rush university Medical Center.

Urological surgeons of Illinois is no longer in practice. Also, we have no affiliation with Dr Frye. I had hoped to remain in the 35 year old practice for some more time but Riverside CEO chose not to work with me. Since then 3 urologists have come and gone from Riverside. I enjoyed my 35+ years in Kankakee in practice . I wish my former patients well and please get vaccinated and boosters . I have also retired from my 30 career at Rush University Medical Center.

To all my former patients. Please get vaccinated against covid. You could prevent your children grandchildren and others from this potentially deadly disease. We were able to get rid of polio, smallpox measles,chickenpox , shingles and more. Don’t believe those who wont get vaccinated and don’t forget the 500,000!people who have died. I believe if given a choice they would have vaccinated
