What to do on a cold January day? Build a snowman banner out of craft sticks, of course! Residents at the Lodge had fun and stayed warm while making these snowmen.

Residents enjoyed entertainment by Christine Rona at our New Years Eve Bash! Christine's performance was fabulous as she went around and sang personally to all the residents. Happy New Year, 2025!!!

Heritage Village had a fun filled Country Christmas Party featuring the entertainment of Vern N' Vern. Residents from the Village and Lodge joined together with family and friends to eat delicious food and enjoy the music. Santa and Mrs. Claus even joined in the celebration. It was also an opportunity for everyone to meet our new Interim Executive Director, Olusola "Olu" Ajayi.

Residents at the Village and Lodge were delighted to be visited by children from the YMCA daycare. The children were age 3-5 years old and passed out hand decorated Christmas cards to our residents.

The Transition Program for the Kankakee School District visited Heritage Village and Lodge. They sang Christmas Carols and passed out candy canes to the residents. Afterwards, residents at the Lodge were anxious to do more seasonal crafting.

Residents at the Lodge had a great time with their family and friends at the annual Christmas Party. Everyone enjoyed listening to the beautiful Christmas songs performed by Mike & Annie on the guitar and fiddle.
