To know her is to not only love her, but ADORE her. She is truly one of the sweetest & most kind humans ever. She always has the best interventions — hours of prep work each week. We love you as the wonderful speech therapist you are, but we love your heart the most. You listen with intention & it does not go unnoticed.

A simple strategy for building language: put favorite toys or snacks just out of reach. This encourages children to initiate communication and strengthens their expressive skills — When items are within easy reach, there’s no need to ask. Positioning preferred items just out of reach gives children a reason to communicate their wants and needs.

Take it a step further by providing pictures of preferred toys/food for child.
