It's a Saturday afternoon and our residents are assisting with the setup of The Goving Tree. As we gather to sing Christmas carols, we are unexpectedly accompanied by the sound of singing in the corridors. Those outside the Living Room, who were chatting and moving, have halted to join in with Silent Night. The moment is one to cherish.

World Kindness Day was marked with sweet desserts, smiling faces, and acts of kindness. Residents devoted time to crafting and coloring smiling faces, reminding staff of their appreciation with heartfelt words. They were enthusiastic about delivering the cards to the staff. Today we honored the sacrifices of three of our USA Veteran residents with a special ceremony, presenting them with a United States Flag with stand and a commemorative card. Each person standing behind our Veteran represented a family member or friend who served our great country. The ceremony concluded with a traditional American dessert, apple pie.
