Yesterday, a few CHA team members had the honor of attending a retirement celebration for Ann Benfield at Cabarrus Partnership for Children. 💐

Cabarrus Partnership for Children is an incredible community partner that helps fund Smart Start programs at CHA, supporting dental care for children before they begin kindergarten, dental services for uninsured pregnant women, and ultrasounds for uninsured pregnant women.

We are so grateful for their continued partnership and the lasting impact Ann has made on families throughout our community. Wishing her all the best in retirement.

Cabarrus County EMS recently spent time on campus working toward a FANTASTIC goal, partnering with a team from Duke to set a world record for the most people trained in CPR in one day! ⏱️❤️

The one-minute trainings were open to clinical staff, nonclinical staff, and clients, making it quick and easy for everyone to learn lifesaving skills. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to support this incredible effort and help make a difference in our community!

Teresa Mims, School Nurse at Fred L. Wilson Elementary School, was recognized by the Kannapolis City Schools Board of Education for her exemplary dedication to Kannapolis City Schools.

Measles isn’t just a rash — it’s a highly contagious disease.

Up to 9 out of 10 unprotected people can get infected if someone nearby has it. Kids under 5 are especially at risk for serious complications. Know the signs which include: high fever, cough, runny nose, watery eyes, and rash.
