He doesn't promise every step will be easy in any area of life, but He does promise to never leave us nor forsake us, and He always causes us to overcome in His strength and power!

Sometimes, we'll get requests from potential clients to see if we can be paid just to come to the birth, since they'll be getting prenatal care at their OBGYN office. Usually, this is due to financial constraints, which is understandable. However often, sadly they just don't really get the heart and value of having your own personal midwife throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Sometimes, they just want someone to be there in case of an emergency.

We do not do "just" baby catching services for many reasons. The most important reason is that it actually increases safety risks. The bond between a mama and her midwife is sacred. The mother needs to be able to trust us implicitly, AND we need to be able to trust her just as much! We should be so close that we know what the most minute change in the gaze of the mother means. We should be able to read her without question, AND they should be able to look at our eyes and feel safe and secure without question. They should know that if the gaze of our eyes become concerning, then they trust us enough to pay attention to that warning look.

Not every mother & midwife dynamic will always give way to spontaneous bursts of affection like this photo. But they often do!

When Carly arrived at his mom's labor, she was bursting with loving pride and couldn't help but kiss the top of her head! (don't worry as this mom shared this photo on her own accord)

This is the substance of the intangibles that fill our hearts with love and excitement to walk in the ministry and calling of the Midwife!

We have a wide array of awesome assistants and nurses that cover us all throughout our vast areas of service, but once in a while Melanie Davis Boling & Carly Waller get the chance to be there for each other's birth, if others aren't available. Trust, it is always a true pleasure to have both midwives side by side supporting each other! Combined, we have over 50 years experience in the Women's Health world, so we're the dynamic duo for sure! Our own version of Shiphrah & Puah 😍 Thank you Brenna Huffman for rounding us out in the fantastic birth team that night!

Nothing like a fast labor debrief early in the morning at Chik Fil A😆

We were blessed to work with the amazing doula Jasmine Little. She was awesome! As always Katie Rancer was fantastic as midwife assistant, and Melanie Davis Boling shined being such an incredible midwife!

Thank you Jesus for a safe and healthy mom and baby!

We love being home birth midwives that cover not only the cities, but the rural areas of North Carolina! Many of our clients are truly eating farm to table and often bless us with the overflow of their bountiful harvest! Today, I took 20 extra minutes after the visit to pick these gorgeous blueberries straight from her bushes. We talked about God's amazing creation, her dream of her sons inheriting their land and making a business out of it. Life just seems simpler in these moments of pure, unadulterated joy, hope, and love. I wouldn't trade this for the world🩷💜💚

One year ago today, New Eden was christened with our first home birth, and now, at our one year anniversary, we just had the most perfect, calm, safe home birth ever! Happy Anniversary to us, and thank you for all of the families, from first family, to the family tonight, for entrusting us with your care! God is beyond so good!

The 2nd Annual Breath of Life Annual Conference Retreat in: SAVANNAH, GA!

This year, we'll have an incredible blend of dynamic speakers. We'll also will be very intentional about devoting time for fellowship, bible study, and worship this year in addition to learning from our speakers!

Check-in Thursday 10/30th at 4pm
Check-out Saturday 11/1st at noon

COST: $395 is an all-inclusive cost for the 3 day, 2 night conference retreat, including all of your meals, and all materials.

LODGING: Most will be in a shared bed with another attendee (we will do our best to honor any requests for your bedmate). There are only a few private beds available (first come, first serve).

You can either pay all of it at once, BUT we have an excellent option for a payment plan! To reserve your spot it requires just a $100 deposit. The remaining balance can be paid at any time prior to the due dates, but the 1st payment of $147.50 is due on August 1st & the last payment of $147.50 is due on Oct. 1st.

Today marks my anniversary of me saying goodbye to my previous family of fellow midwives, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians, in corporate healthcare, and walking into the utterly WILD wilderness of starting my own private midwifery practice!

I literally can't believe it's been a full year!

However, I could NOT have made that leap of faith without my dear friend and absolutely INCREDIBLE Perinatal Chiropractor, Dr Jeimmy Sanchez Be Happy Family Chiropractic for giving me a space to share at her office! I will forever be grateful for her being such a foundational start to this practice that is, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, is blessing so many families AND birthworkers who are a part of the New Eden Family! Thank you, my dear friend! Y'all go see her for your care. You will NOT regret it!
