Today is National Sunglasses Day. So much damage occurs to the eyes because of the sun. A couple things to think about.....Children look up to adults when they are outside so they are looking up into the sun. They need to be wearing quality sunwear to protect their eyes. If your child is wearing prescription eyewear, you may want to consider transitions lenses. While they don't replace sunglasses in adults, they do give children the extra layer of protection out in the sun without having to keep track of multiple pairs of glasses.

The time has come! I am so excited to announce I have been working hard to be able to bring my mobile optician business to fruition. While I will continue to work full time and I am being very careful to NOT do any conflicts of interest. If anyone is currently a patient of mine or sees any of the doctors at the clinic I am working at, I will not be able to see them through this business.

I have partnered with two AMAZING labs so I can bring quality products to patients in the comfort of their own home.

I will also be offering optician training as well as small optometry practice business consulting.

This will add to my already full plate but I am so passionate about quality optics as well as working with patients who will benefit from being seen in the comfort of their own home instead of a clinic setting.
