Midwest Aortic & Vascular Institute, P.C. was formed Jan. 1, 2016, when two well established practices - Kansas City Vascular and Vascular Surgery Associates - merged to form the Kansas City metro area’s largest vascular surgery group, continuing their legacy as leaders in vascular innovation. Together our eight surgeons, four advance practice nurses, ultrasound technicians and a dedicated staff are focused on providing the highest level of care for patients suffering from aortic and vascular conditions.

Congrats to Dr. Coster and team — rEVAR Escape Room champions!

Earlier this month at the Medtronic Tech Exchange, their group finished a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) simulation in just over 21 minutes. rEVAR/EVAR is a minimally invasive way to repair a ruptured aneurysm, and simulations like this sharpen speed, teamwork, and patient safety.
