We’re excited to welcome Samantha Schmidt as Business Manager at Pharmacy of Grace!

Samantha’s connection to our mission is deeply personal. Her father manages diabetes and heart disease and relies on lifesaving medications every day.

50 families served.

That’s the impact of last week’s F.I.R.S.T. Tuesday community outreach event in Wyandotte County thanks to our partners Mercy & Truth Healthcare Ministry and the food mobile from The Church of the Resurrection

Pharmacy of Grace joined community partners to help connect families with essential health resources. Thanks to the generosity of Heart to Heart International, we were able to distribute ibuprofen, acetaminophen, otoscopes, and 60 hygiene kits to individuals and families in our community.

We are also grateful to the Wyandotte County Public Health Department for their support of this effort.

Beyond the numbers, the most meaningful part of the day was talking with neighbors who shared how much these services matter. Access to medications, health information, and supportive care can make a real difference for families.

F.I.R.S.T. Tuesday is now a monthly outreach, and we look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Our pharmacy serves an incredibly diverse group of patients from all over the world and we have a translation service with more than 300 languages. This helps us connect with patients and make sure they fully understand their medications and how to take them properly. More than half of our patients are women and we are honored to support their health today, and every day.

As we finish out this American Heart Month, here are some important reminders about warning signs you should never ignore:
1. Chest pain or discomfort
2. Shortness of breath
3. Fatigue and dizziness
4. Swelling in feet or ankles
5. Unusual heartbeat

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., claiming nearly 700,000 lives annually. That’s 1 in every 5 deaths. While the statistics are serious, the good news is that many forms of heart disease are preventable through lifestyle changes or medication.

If you cannot afford your medications, don't hesitate to reach out to us for help! It could save your life.

Two years ago we introduced you to our brand new pharmacy robot. We didn't even know then how grateful we would be for this addition to our pharmacy. The pharmacy robot has been critical to meeting the growing needs of our community.
