Busy, growing family practice seeking a full-time Medical Assistant. Will consider Licensed Paramedic or CNA with Phlebotomy Certification.

🕘 Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, day shift
• 40 hours/week
• No weekends

🎁 Benefits:
• Paid holidays
• Up to 3 weeks PTO
• No health insurance offered

🩺 Duties Include:
Rooming patients, vitals, phlebotomy, labs, intake, phones, prescription refills, prior authorizations, referrals, and patient communication.

✅ Requirements:
Detail-oriented, team player, able to multitask, EMR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks).

✨ Luminaire Centrus Insurance Update for Our Patients ✨

We have some good news to share!

Schreier Family Medicine has officially signed a contract with Centrus, with an effective date of April 17, 2026. While we are still in the final processing stages, we have received the go-ahead from Centrus to begin seeing patients as in-network.

Please note: it may take approximately 4–6 weeks for our in-network status to be updated and visible on their website.

We understand how frustrating this process has been, and we truly appreciate your patience and continued support. We are so grateful to be able to continue caring for you and your families.

‼️ATTENTION NKC Health & KU Med/Liberty Hospital employees and families:‼️

We want to make you aware of an important update regarding insurance network issues with Luminaire/Centrus that may impact your coverage.

In December, we were informed that we were in-network. However, we are only now discovering—after months of claim processing—that services have been processed as out-of-network. Unfortunately, we were misinformed, and we know this has caused confusion and frustration.

We are truly heartbroken at the thought of potentially losing patients we’ve cared for over the years due to circumstances completely outside of our control. We are actively working to resolve this issue and are doing everything we can to get it corrected (including requesting backdating if possible), but we are currently waiting on responses from provider relations.

If you have been affected, we strongly encourage you to:
• Call the number on your insurance card and file a complaint regarding network status misinformation
• Share your experience if you feel comfortable doing so
