We are a fast-paced, rapidly growing small-town private family practice seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team!
Schedule
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• Day shift: Monday–Friday

Position Overview
You will be assisting one physician and two Nurse Practitioners in a busy family practice caring for patients ages 0–100.
Responsibilities Include:
• Rooming patients and taking vitals
• Basic intake assessments
• Phlebotomy and lab draws
• Collecting and processing in-house labs
• Answering phones and patient questions
• Submitting electronic prescription refills
• Communicating lab, X-ray, and test results to patients
• Submitting prior authorizations (medications, imaging, etc.)
• Sending orders and referrals
• Accurately relaying information between providers and patients
Qualifications
• Medical Assistant preferred
• Will consider Licensed Paramedic or CNA with Phlebotomy Certification
• Previous experience strongly recommended
• Comfortable with or willing to learn EMR systems (eClinicalWorks currently used)
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
