Our focus is on helping individuals with diverse abilities to gain the skills and experience needed to live self-determined quality lives. Programs center around career exploration and readiness skills, career placement and colleague interdependence, and community inclusion. Program activities take place at our two program sites and throughout the greater Kansas City Communities.

What is a micro-enterprise? A micro-enterprise allows scholars to pursue their passions while enhancing their personal growth, employability, and earning potential. The "small business" microenterprise scholars will build valuable relationships and expand support networks through increased interactions with customers and community members. At the Painted Tree, our scholars have been working hard to put out some new products for their small business.
