I’ve been in my own world these past few weeks… I finished radiation and let me tell you proton radiation is way easier on your body. I had a joyous stay at the hospital for 6 days because I had a high fever. Good news is I didn’t have any infections or anything super scary wrong with me. The doctors helped me get out of the radiation funk, that I’m still currently getting out of. My biggest thing is my “sunburn” all over my chest is causing fevers but other than that I’m doing wonderful! I have a little bit of a cough due to the radiation but that should subside soon!
I’m not going to post as much so fast on here, as I forget to let myself emotionally and physically get through things before adding the world. But I will keep posting! 🙂
Also I got put in a nicer room after a day, they didn’t have any beds open so they put me in the burn unit for two nights and it is so heart breaking hearing their screams every time they get their dressings changed, my heart goes out to them and everyone else in the hospital. Once they had a bed open on the “cancer” floor I went there and my mom had a much nicer area to sleep❤️
