The AAOS recently updated their Clinical Practice Guidelines for treatment of rotator cuff tears. There is now a strong recommendation for augmenting rotator cuff repairs with bioinductive implants. This was made based on high quality evidence which shows that augmentation decreases retear rates and improves patient outcomes. Who else is a fan of augmenting cuff repairs?

Grateful to be part of the excellent course bringing ARVIS to Europe (and South Africa). There were surgeons from 8 different countries in attendance. My first time in Verona and it did not disappoint. Excited to get this technology in the hands of surgeons across the pond!

Big day today! Incredibly honored to have performed the first ever ARVIS shoulder cases. ARVIS is an exciting new technology in shoulder replacement surgery. This technology utilizes augmented reality for intraoperative navigation allowing surgeons to get implants in the perfect position every time. Going to be a game changer! Thanks to the ARVIS team and my OR team for helping to make this possible.
