When’s the last time someone really spoke LIFE into you?

One of our SoulFIT tropical retreats, we watched a moment I’ll carry forever, a true miracle, a breakthrough.

Ricky.. strong, quiet… the kind who’s learned to hold a lot in and just press forward.

From day one, I could feel there was weight behind his smile and big heart.

I didn’t push.
I just spent time with him.
Got honest about my own story.
Shared where God met me.
Spoke life over him every chance I could.

And slowly…I started seeing him shift.

Then on the very last day, on the beach at a morning event… ocean behind us, sand under our feet —
and he stood up before the group.

His voice trembled.
Tears in his eyes.
He opened up with great courage and vulnerability.

And right there, on that beach…
you could almost feel some of that weight fall off of him.
God was moving.
That was breakthrough.

Ricky is now one of my good friends and to see all the amazing things that has hapoened in his life since that point is prayers answered.

Moments like that remind me why we do this.
People are starving for safe, honest community, where they can finally breathe…and know they aren’t alone.
