The Family Conservancy We help children take advantage of the most important period of human development.

At The Family Conservancy, we empower Kansas City to raise happy, healthy, educated children. We’re focused on supporting families, caregivers and teachers who prepare children for success in school and life. We accomplish these things by:
• Administering Head Start and Early Head Start programs for nearly 1,000 families.
• Providing professional development and capacity building support to ear

ly care and education programs. This work positively impacts more than 40,000 children each year.
• Providing child care referrals and tips for choosing quality child care to nearly 10,000 families
• Counseling more than 2,000 families to overcome issues and improve family and child well-being.
