A member of our field team here at Summit for 3.5 years, Tina works diligently in both schools and homes. The Aidan Project is now accepting scholarship applications for 2026! 💙

If you’re a Kansas City–area family with a young child (age 5 or younger on Jan 1, 2026) receiving therapy for a developmental delay—such as autism, a speech delay, or sensory processing disorder—you may be eligible for funding to help cover the cost of private therapy.

Created by local parents who know firsthand how easy it is to fall through the cracks, The Aidan Project exists to bridge the gap for families who don’t qualify for state-funded services. Their mission is simple and powerful: to ensure every child with developmental delays has access to the early intervention they need to thrive.

-Applications are open now through September 18, 2025
*Eligible counties: Jackson, Platte, Clay, Johnson (MO), Henry (MO), Johnson (KS), and Wyandotte (KS)

Today, we’re celebrating 10 years at Summit for Gale Fisher! 🥳

Gale is an essential part of our team—often the very first voice families hear when they reach out to us. She originally joined Summit as a driver, but quickly took on additional administrative responsibilities and grew into her current role as our Insurance Intake Coordinator.

In this role, Gale helps new families navigate services, complete intake, and understand their insurance coverage with clarity and confidence. She also oversees our Field Services waitlist, making sure it’s well-organized, responsive to family needs, and always moving forward as space becomes available.

Her work behind the scenes ensures families get started with the right support as smoothly and efficiently as possible—and we are so grateful for the dedication, and care she brings to everything she does.

Gale, thank you for being part of this journey for the past decade. You make a difference every single day! 💙
