Today, we pause to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on his dedication to equality, dignity, and compassion for all people.

As we support children and families across Missouri and Kansas, we’re grateful for the reminder that kindness, respect, and community care make a meaningful difference in everyday life.

Wishing everyone a thoughtful and peaceful MLK Day 💛

Torie and Bridgette are making a difference every day, and it’s always wonderful to hear it from the schools we work with!

“I have had at least 4 different NKC staff today tell me that both Torie and Bridgette are amazing. Always great to hear! Thanks for all your hard work, Torie and Bridgette!”

We’re so proud of the impact they make and grateful to the school teams who take the time to share their appreciation. Feedback like this keeps us inspired and helps our team continue doing what they do best.

Keep up the amazing work, Torie and Bridgette! 👏😀

January: where experience meets opportunity.

A new year brings fresh momentum as we build on the skills and experiences gained in 2025. Every experience helps shape what we know, every opportunity opens the door to growth, and every step forward matters. We’re excited to keep learning, building, and growing together at Summit in the year ahead!

The start of a new year feels like a good time to reintroduce ourselves. 👋

We’re Summit Behavioral Services, and for more than a decade we’ve supported autistic children as well as children with a wide range of learning and behavioral needs through compassionate, individualized services rooted in ABA. We partner closely with families, schools, and districts to support early intervention, educational services, and behavioral and academic growth—always with care, collaboration, and intention.

With teams across the greater Kansas City area and Wichita, KS, our work is built on strong relationships and a deep respect for each learner’s unique path. We love sharing glimpses of life at Summit and being part of a community that values progress, patience, and possibility.

If you’re new here and would like to learn more about our autism and behavioral support services, you can explore our website, www.summitaba.com. We’re really glad you’re here 😀

A new year begins today, and we’re stepping into it with a lot of gratitude. We’re proud of our learners and the growth they continue to show, thankful for the schools who partner with us in this work, and so appreciative of our Summit team who brings consistency, care, and expertise to every day.

To our families: thank you for trusting us, collaborating with us, and sharing your stories with our team. Your partnership shapes everything we do, and we’re honored to walk alongside you into the year ahead. Wishing everyone a warm, hopeful New Year 💛

As we wrap up the year, we’re looking back at our winter social and the time spent celebrating the people who make Summit what it is 💛

Grateful for this team, the care they bring every day, and the way they show up for one another. Here’s to stepping into the new year together!

Earlier this month, at our end-of-year staff celebration, we had the absolute joy of honoring these incredible team members as our 2025 Employees of the Year.

Each person recognized here represents the very best of Summit — showing up with compassion, consistency, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to the individuals and families we serve. Their impact is felt every single day, often in ways that go unseen but never go unfelt.

To our Employees of the Year: thank you for the care you give, the standards you set, and the heart you bring to this work. Summit is stronger because of you, and we are so proud to celebrate you. 💙
