This Black History Month, we honor the strength, leadership, and resilience of Black communities-communities that have long been at the forefront of advocacy, care, and progress in the fight against HIV.
Black leaders, activists, and healthcare champions have shaped the history of HIV prevention and treatment, often pushing forward change in the face of inequity. Their work continues to inspire our mission today.
At the same time, we recognize the ongoing disparities that disproportionately impact Black communities. Advancing health equity means confronting these inequities head on, expanding access to care, challenging stigma, and ensuring that every person has the support, respect, and resources they deserve.
