“Dang, Travis — you’re pretty good at a lot of things. How’d that happen?”
Well… I’ve got an insatiable desire to never ask anyone for help.

“Dang, Travis — you’re not nearly as far along as you could be with all those skills.”
Same answer. 😅

This weekend at Waldo Fall Fest, I finally did the thing I’m worst at: I asked for help.

As an introvert, working a booth for eight hours is rough. So I called my friends Fernando, Michelle, and Kim, three people who love connecting with others, and asked if they’d tag in.
They crushed it.
In just six hours, they reached more people than we normally do in an entire month.

Here’s what hit me:
Almost every conversation went like this ⤵️
“What are you doing for fitness?”
“Oh, nothing… but I know I should be.”
“What’s holding you back?”
Crickets.

Maybe you don’t need more motivation — maybe you just need to ask for help.

What's so special about small group training?! 👀

Last couple of weeks, been getting a lot of weird looks about me and the other two guys in the corner on Tuesday and Thursday mornings getting absolutely roasted by Coach Kenya so I thought I'd clear that up: “HYROX prep” . But really, it’s three athletes with the same specialized goal with programming built just for us. Every workout is adjusted in real time for each of our needs and it’s still way more fun (and affordable) than solo training.

Then there’s our women’s small group after work: a mix of athletes rebuilding strength, learning the ropes, or wanting more hands-on guidance than big classes offer. This is by no means easier, these women work HARD. If anything, in Small Group the coach gets to know you that much better so they can work in the exact right amount of intensity for growth.

Different goals. Same energy.
