Special Needs Services Of Ray County and their program Stabilization Support Services is gearing up for a capital campaign. Our work is intended to lift people up out of the difficulties they may have with mental health, addictions, homelessness, and/or incarceration. We fill the gaps so that individuals do not fall through the cracks. Our fundamental belief is that human beings have inherent value even when they, or others, have forgotten that. Our program is expanding quickly and we are outgrowing the small facility that we exist in. As the need grows, so does the need for additional staff and thus additional staff and space for groups, etc. Thus the capital campaign. If you would like to know more about this program where I contract as the clinical director and run the clinical side of the program I would love to welcome you in, show you around, or just set a lunch to give you a fuller view of our work. In addition to beginning groups with the Ray County jail in November in an effort to make a dent in recidivism and offer recovery to those who want it, SSS is now open for enrollment in our 3rd pilot group.
