The Mental Sensei

The Mental Sensei I offer a support structure; a relationship in which I give you tools and methodologies to strengthen and develop your mind and clarify your approach.

More and more today people are beginning to realize the importance of one’s way of thinking. The mindset of a champion, a warrior, a person of influence, power, and success is not some pie-in-the-sky concept that only a privileged few are allowed to obtain. It can be learned, honed, refined, and expanded through focused, strategic preparation, daily rigor, and exercise. I offer a support structure; a relationship in which I give you tools and methodologies to strengthen and develop your mind and clarify your approach to life’s challenges and goals.

My coaching provides a well-spring of hope, inspiration, encouragement and instruction that cleanses away the poison of a negative mind-state and combats the wealth of negative reinforcement so embraced by our culture today.

'Together we will mold your mind into an indomitable force capable of breaking fears and creating new realities'. Is this a little ambitious? Absolutely, but we live in a time in which those whose ambition is fuelled by purpose, practiced in discipline, and guided by love will define the future of our planet. It starts with one. MENTAL COACHING

I coach professional fighters. This includes UFC, Bellator, and other mixed martial arts athletes, as well as boxers, wrestlers, and bjj practitioners.

Oftentimes, these athletes face incredible pressure to perform, fear, doubt, anxiety, distractions, and a wealth of other mental blocks or limiting beliefs which impede peak performance.

If you have experienced any of these symptoms, or want to explore taking your training and preparation to the next level, let's talk. Athletes spend a tremendous amount of time drilling technique, cardio, strength, mobility, etc; all of which pertain to the body. Excellent work, however, there is little focus, if any, on the mind. At elite levels of competition, this is something that must be remedied. Mind and Body. Your success takes both.

We got photos of Rocklin and the fam for Father's Day, and they turned out fantastic! I was never much for baby photos, but things changed a bit when I had my own. So, be warned, my feed for awhile will continue to feature the cuteness of Rocky. I've never been great at branding, but hey, this is me. And I'm stoked about my my boy! Thanks, , for doing fabulous work. Definitely give her a follow and check her out should you need some photos done. 🙏

What a trip!! 🤯😅This past Friday at 10:23 our family got a little bigger. And I do mean "little" bigger.

Introducing first, out of the Roger's corner --- , weighing in at 6 pounds 9 ounces, -- Richard Rocklin Rogers! Taking after his dad he will go by his middle name, Rocklin or Rocky for short. (Coming up with nicknames has been pretty fun - Rock, Richie Rock, Ricky Rock, Rocco, lol)

He was named after my late grandfather Richard to represent his past, Rocklin, which his mom came up with for his present, and Rogers to represent his future lineage.

Delivery was intense. Britt's blood pressure spiked. She was pre-eclampsia and had to be put on magnesium, meaning no water and drowsiness for the delivery. It got a little scary as her BP continued to climb, and her liver enzymes became elevated. We ended up staying almost a week in the hospital, but praise God, it seems like she is doing better!

Rocklin is doing fantastic. He's an angle. Everyone told me I would have this instant connection, well, I didn't. I thought maybe something was wrong with me, and I was emotionally stunted. However, the last few days spending time feeding, cuddling, changing, or just holding him, has caused my heart to expand.

This guy is my joy. I love him sooooo much and promise to do my best by him. I thank God for all the friends, family and support he and his mother and I have and continue to receive.

I'm somewhat superstitious, I suppose, but that last photo was taken as I was laying with him on my chest in the hospital. It was one of the first times he and I got to chill, and as I looked out my window, I could swear I saw a giant heart and a baby in the clouds. I tried to snap a photo as soon as I could, but the clouds had shifted a bit. Maybe you can still see it.

Regardless, I felt God was giving me a message. He gives the best gifts. My wife, my son, my family, all the love in my life, work that I enjoy, His provision, I praise God for all of it. I felt He was telling me He loves me, my son, family and that love would grow. It absolutely has. Baby Mental Sensei is here. Thank you all for checking in! Love you all and excited for you to meet him!!!
