Did you know the Catholic Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph operates three cemeteries in the Kansas City, Missouri area and one in the St. Joseph, Missouri area? Each location offers a variety of options including ground burial, mausoleum, and cremation niches. We are happy to assist you at any one of our locations. If you are planning to visit a loved one and do not know or are unsure of the grave location, please email us.
For Mt. Olivet, Kansas City, Resurrection, and St. Mary's cemeteries, email to inforeq@cemeterieskcsj.org.
For Mt. Olivet in St. Joseph, Missouri email to lrochagann@cemeterieskcsj.org
Please send the following information for each person:
• Name of Cemetery
• First, Middle (if known), and Last Name
• Date or year of interment
A map will be emailed to you with the location and directions within 7 to 10 working days. This will be the best and fastest way to obtain locations.
Please Remember - Our main focus is to serve our families with their current loss.
SPECIAL NOTE TO GENEOLOGISTS: We are happy to assist your search, but our focus is dedicated to our families. Your first five names will be at no cost. Any names you send us after that will be charged a $5 Research Fee which must be paid before the work can be initiated.

Reminder- Any Christmas decorations placed will be left until February 2. On February 2 we will begin picking up any decorations that have not already been removed. Decorations that are placed in a permanent vase will not be disturbed. Arrangements in permanent vases will remain until they become too weathered or faded. Thank you!

Blustery, cold weather is here. Our grounds crew will plow and salt cemetery roads during bad weather. If you come out to visit or to remove decorations from graves, please be very careful especially when walking across snow covered grounds. Thank you.
